Home / Inspection / Field days in Abu Dhabi

Mapped on Wednesday.
Walking on its own on Thursday.

Two days on a live site in Abu Dhabi, 16–17 September 2026. Day one: we walked the building with the robot and recorded the route — service corridors, stairs, plant rooms. Day two: the robot repeated that route without anyone steering it. Everything on this page is our own footage from those two days, unstaged.

Day two · 17 September

This is what an inspection round looks like

The indoor round

Service corridor, plant room, switchgear rows, back past the obstacles in the corridor. The same path and the same distance to every panel on every round — that is what makes one month's readings comparable with the next.

Out onto the plaza

Same robot, same day: from the plant room to open paving outdoors. Indoor routes and outdoor grounds are one patrol, not two machines.

Footage: WOLKER Robotics, 17 September 2026. No sound — sites are busy places and people talk.

What the route went through

Real buildings, not test tracks

Quadruped inspection robot walking between insulated pipes and valves in a plant room

Plant rooms

Built for pipes, not for people: tight turns, low valves, raised plinths. Four legs cope where wheels get stuck.

Switchgear rows

The round nobody enjoys at 2 a.m. The robot walks the row at the same distance every time, so the pictures line up from visit to visit.

Corridors with things in them

Cones, drain gratings, whatever was left there this morning. A route has to survive the building as it is on the day.

How a new site starts

Day one is mapping. From day two it repeats.

1 · Walk the building once

We bring the robot, walk the route with your facilities team and record it: corridors, stairs, plant rooms, the points worth looking at. On this site that took one working day.

2 · The robot repeats it

Next day it walks the same route on its own. An operator stays on site with a stop switch — we do not leave machines unattended in a working building.

3 · You get a record

Every round ends in a dated record of what was walked and what was seen. See the inspection services and fixed prices, or buy the same machine from us as an authorised Deep Robotics distributor in the UAE.

We do not name clients or sites without a signed permission. Doors on this route were opened by people — getting a robot through doors on its own is a separate piece of work, and we say so up front.
