Robot dogs in Dubai:
straight answers

Prices, legality, batteries, heat, programming — everything people actually ask us, answered plainly.

How much does a robot dog cost in Dubai?

At WOLKER, robot dogs start at AED 12,900 for the Explorer education model. The Explorer Vision with an AI module is AED 18,900, the flagship Explorer Sentinel with LiDAR is AED 25,900, and the industrial six-legged Hexplorer is AED 53,900. Prices exclude 5% VAT and include UAE delivery and commissioning.

How much does it cost to rent a robot dog in Dubai?

Rental starts at AED 4,900 for a two-hour Meet & Greet appearance with a trained operator. A half-day Show Package starts at AED 7,500 and a full-day Headline Act at AED 9,500. Final quotes depend on venue and script.

Are robot dogs legal in the UAE?

Yes. Owning and operating a robot dog on private property is legal in the UAE. For events in public spaces, the organiser may need standard event permits from the venue or authorities — we advise clients on this as part of every booking.

What can a robot dog actually do?

Modern robot dogs walk stairs and slopes, avoid obstacles, follow mapped routes autonomously, carry cameras and sensors, and run custom software. We use them for event entertainment, facility inspection rounds and private AI companions.

Can a robot dog handle Dubai's summer heat?

The platforms we supply are rated by the manufacturer for defined operating temperatures. For summer outdoor work we plan missions in early morning or evening hours and keep spare batteries cool. Indoor and night operation is unaffected.

How long does the battery last?

Around 2.5 hours of walking on a charge, depending on terrain and payload. Hot-swappable 8,000 mAh batteries and a wheeled-foot kit extend working time for longer missions.

Can I program the robot myself?

Yes. Every model runs Ubuntu 22.04 with ROS 2 and an open SDK in Python and C++. You get sensor data, motion control and simulation tools. If you would rather not code, our Bespoke studio programs missions for you.

What is a robot dog inspection service?

Instead of buying a robot, you subscribe to scheduled inspection rounds: the robot walks a mapped route through your facility or estate, photographs checkpoints, and our AI layer reports what changed. It replaces inconsistent manual rounds with repeatable data.

Do robot dogs replace security guards?

No. WOLKER does not provide security or guarding services - that is a separately regulated industry in Dubai, and it is not what we do. Our robots perform facility inspection rounds: equipment condition, leaks, temperature, documentation. Any security function remains with your licensed security provider.

Which robot dog is best for beginners?

The Explorer (AED 12,900) is the best entry point: a full quadruped with SDK access. If you want the robot to see and think — for AI projects — start with the Explorer Vision (AED 18,900).

How long is delivery in the UAE?

Current lead time is 4–6 weeks from order to commissioning at your site, including factory production and shipping. Rental bookings only need a few days' notice.

Is there a warranty and local support?

Yes. Robots carry a manufacturer warranty which we handle locally in Dubai — you talk to us, we deal with the factory. Setup, training and software support come from our own team.

Can the robot speak and interact with guests?

With our Bespoke AI editions, yes: onboard voice agents greet guests, answer questions and give tours in English, Arabic or Russian. This is custom software our Dubai team builds on the robot's AI module.

Who is behind WOLKER?

WOLKER is the robotics brand of Primeshield Software Trading L.L.C., a Dubai company. The same team builds AI monitoring platforms for real estate and landscapes in the UAE.

How do I book or order?

One WhatsApp message to +971 56 878 0888. Tell us the date and the job — event, inspection or purchase — and we reply the same day with one clear quote.

What exactly do you get after an inspection?

A signed digital report: every finding photographed and located, each one sized and costed in AED per year where the measurement allows it, and a plain statement of what was covered and what was not. The report is hash-sealed when it is issued, so anyone you hand it to can confirm later that nothing was changed after the walk. The full anatomy of a report, section by section, is on the What you get page.
